Description of manuscript content:

The content tells the story of Gotama Buddha. After the enlightenment, in the seventh year, the Buddha ascended to a heaven and stayed in Tavatimsa heaven for the Buddhist Lent. There, the Buddha delivered sermons on seven chapters of Abhidhamma (higher doctrine) to Indra and Devas in order to give his return to his mother. Venerable Moggallana and Venerable Sariputta passed away before. Venerable Sariputta passed away at his mother village named Naratthkham. Then the Buddha was travelling to spread his teachings. The Buddha established his Teachings for 5,000 years. The Buddha passed away at the age of 80 years old and entered Nirvāna.
