The story tells that after the Buddha received the food from Cunda Upasaka, he became ill and thirsty. On the way to Kusinara, the Buddha ordered Venerable Ananda to bring water with his bowl. While the Venerable went to the stream, he saw the water become turbid. The Venerable could not bring the water. He came back and informed the Buddha about the turbid water. Then the Buddha ordered him again to bring him the water. While the Venerable scooping the water, it became clear.
