The content tells about the belief in “kalakini (misfortune)” which includes misery, ill-luck, adversity, mischance, and unfortunate. Actually, Kala means time, period, occasion, and season. Kini means worse, evil, wicked, vicious, unfortunate. Kalakini happens every day. When something wrong happens such as illness, property lost, they will see this book to predict the cause of the problem. This book also tells about the name of a person whose alphabet is auspicious or inauspicious for setting as the first letter of the name.
