Description of manuscript content:

The story tells a previous life of the Buddha. When Bodhisattva was born as a small ricebird living in a rice farm. At the time, Devadatta was born as a hawk. The hawk ate small birds. While the ricebird was playing on the rice field. The hawk which flying above, saw the ricebird. I thought of eating the ricebird. It flew down fastly in order to catch the ricebird. The wise ricebird ran into a hole. The hawk’s chest attacked the soil violently. It was broken. Finally, the hawk died.
