Description of manuscript content:
The content tells the merit derived from offering flowers and fragrant to worship the Buddha. The ones who worship the Buddha with flowers and fragrant will gain merit in the three stages such as in the human world, heavenly world and Nirvana. On the other hand, the ones who worship the Buddha will gain power, worship the Dhamma will gain wisdom, and worship the Sangha (Order) will gain wealthiness.

Folio 6 on the recto side: In the Buddhist Era (BE) 2491, a poek chai year, on the second day of the waxing moon of the eleventh lunar month, Monday, the writing of this manuscript was finished in the afternoon’s drum (between 13.30-15.00 o’clock). Ba Khamphao, the nephew of Thit (ex-monk) Keota from Ban Meuangkhai village had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Salòng anisong busadokmai thup thian, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbānaṃ paramaṃ sukkhaṃ (Nirvana is the greatest bliss). May I have much happiness all the time.
