Description of manuscript content:
The famous love story of Prince Sisudhon and Manora. Long time ago, there was a richest kingdom named Pancaranagara, there lived a handsome young man named Prince Sudhon or Sisudhon. He was the only child of King Adhittayavong and Queen Chandhadhevi. The young prince was remarkable, handsome, intelligent, and kind. One day, Hunter Bun who was a famous hunter in the kingdom discovered the secret bathing pool used by seven Kinnari (girls with a beautiful half-woman and half-swan) who were the daughters of King Tumerat. One of the seven Kinnari named Manora. The hunter caught Manora with a snare and brought her to Prince Sisudhon. When they met each other, they had immediately fallen in love.

Folio 22 on the verso side: In the Buddhist Era (BE) 2500, a mamae year (year of the goat), on the waning day of the first lunar month, at 5.00 pm. Chao Tan from Hong Vat Nong together with all his children sponsored the making of this manuscript entitled Sisuthon, in order for the new generation to study. May this merit be a condition to attain the way to heaven and Nirvāna in the future. Niccaṃ dhuvaṃ nibbānaṃ paramaṃ sukkhaṃ niccaṃ dhuvaṃ (Nirvana is the greatest bliss constantly and certainly).
