The content tells about in the Buddha’s time, the Buddha accompanied with 500 bhikkhus including Ananda Thera travelled to a hill named Doi Tao where the hair relics of the previous Buddhas had been installed. Later King Asoka built the sputa to protect the relics. In Buddhist Era 800, a bhikkhu and a devoted girl named Sutsada who had religious faith, they together made a statue of the Buddha of a crystal. This made the people misunderstood and accused them of having sexual misconduct but not true. The head district of the village ordered to kill Sutsada.

Folio 17 on the verso side: In Cunlasakkarat (CS) 1279, a moeng sai year, on the fifth day of the waxing moon of the seventh lunar month, Saturday, a poek si day. Thit (ex-monk) Phomma and Sao (Mrs) Mee, husband and wife, together with their parents jointly had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Doitao, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May our wishes and desires come true. Sādhu sādhu anumodhāmi nibbānaṃ paramaṃ sukkhaṃ (Amen, ame! I rejoice. Nirvana is the greatest bliss).
