Description of manuscript content:
Malai Muen means during paying homage to Chulamani Stupa in Tavatimsa Heaven, Venerable Pha Malai Thera had seen the certain deities in the amount of muen (ten thousand) surrounding the stupa there. Venerable Malai Thera, a Buddhist monk who lived at Kamphosakham village in Sri Lanka known for legendary travels to heaven and hell. His story is popularly chanted during the Vessantara Jataka festival or Bun Mahasat. According to the legend, he visited heaven and hell and afterwards described to the lay people and fellow monks what he had seen.
