Description of manuscript content:
In the Buddha’s time, the Lord Buddha gave his eight hairs to two merchants named Tapussa and Bhallika who were brothers. They received the hairs with the most pleasure. Then they built a stupa on the Si Khutara Mount for enshrining the Buddha’s relics of hairs in order for people and divine deities to pay respect and to worship.
