The content tells on one occasion, the Buddha was dwelling in Kosambi, he spoke about the disasters of 500 women which include Samavadi and Magandiya. Thus, the Buddha delivered a sermon of this story. Once upon a time, there were two friend kings named Anlakappa and Vetthathipaka. They studied with the same teacher. After their fathers died, they both were successors to their fathers. King Anlakappa ruled Anlakappa kingdom and King Vetthathipaka ruled Vetthathipaka kingdom. They both saw the birth and death of the people. They felt miserable. Then they decided to leave their kingdoms and became ascetics. They separated and lived in the two mountains practicing their perseverance.
