On one occasion, while dwelling in the Jetavanna monastery in Savattha, the Buddha spoke to monks about the story of Venerable Ukkhasena and delivered this sermon. Venerable Ukkhasena was millionaire’s son before entering the monastery. He loved a girl who was in a club of dansers. So he stayed with the club. Later he himself was a player. When he had a chance to listen to the Buddha’s preaching while he was playing, he was faithful in the Buddha’s Teachings and attained enlightenment. Later, he entered the monkhood in Buddhism.
