On one occasion, while dwelling in the Jetavanna monastery in Savattha, the Buddha spoke about novices who were arahants and delivered this sermon. One day, a Brahmani told her husband to invite four old brahmins to receive food at her house. But the husband went to the Jetavana monastery and invited four monks. When the time had come, there were four novices who were only seven years old and went to the house. The four novices include Novice Sangicca, Novice Pandita, Novice Sopaka, and Novice Revata. They all were arahants.
