The story tells the Bodhisatta was born as a poor man named Phalabandit. He looked after his old parents. When he was 16 years old, he married Sattha. One day, he entered the forest and found a broken Buddha statue. He took the statue to his house and told his family that he would like to repair the statue. His wife rejoiced with him. After repairing, they donated the Buddha statue to the monastery. They set their wishes to be free from poverty in this life. Later, their wishes come true.

Folio 26 on the recto side: On the third day of the week (Tuesday), the 14th of the second lunar month, tikulayasok, the writing of this manuscript was finished in the morning (between 7.30-9.00 o’clock). Chaohua Viangkae and his wife sponsored the making of this manuscript entitled Chanthakhat, to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo hotu no dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ niccaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbana) definitely. Dear girls! Even though the stylus gets moldy, I still use it to write, dear girls.
