The text begins with the passages for inviting Devas to hear the Dhamma sucha as sagge kāme ca rue those in the heavens of sensuality and form, giri sikharatate on peak and mountain precipices, cantalikkhevimāne in palaces floating in the sky, dīpe ratthe ca game in inslands, countries, and towns, taruvana gahane in groves of trees and thickets, geha vattumhi khette around home sites and fields… and so on. Then the words of reverence for the various virtues of the Buddha.

Folio 20 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat 1 hundred 80 (CS 1180), a poek nyi year, on the seventh waxing day of the seventh [lunar] month, a kot sanga day, the writing of this manuscript was finished at noon (between 10.30-12.00 o’clock). Ta (Mr.) Müan and his wife had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Nisai Samphuttha Khatha and Nòlasiha Khatha to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May we all reach the three states of happiness with Nirvāna as the ultimate goal.
