Description of manuscript content:
The text mentions about when Queen Siri Maha Maya Devi left Kapilavatthu for Devadaha, her mother land in order to give a birth of her child. Before separating her husband, King Suddhodana, she spoke to him that when she was in her motherland she would give a child and she would be in care of her parents. She also asked her husband to give her forgiveness for any mistake that she might have done without intention in order to give her blissing.

Folio 26 on the verso side: In Culasakkarat (CS) 1236, a kap set year, on the fourth waxing day of the fourth [lunar] month, the third day of the week (Tuesday), a tao nyi day, the writing of this manuscript was finished in the afternoon (between 12.00-13.30 o’clock). Phò Liang (step father) Pong was the principal initiatior together with all his children and grand-children who had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript-bundle entitled Siri Mahamaya to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo hoto no (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvāna).
