Description of manuscript content:
On one occasion, while dwelling at the Jetavanna monastery in Savatthi, the Buddha delivered a semon to monks and people. The Buddha spoke about the benefits derived from cremation of the dead. Anyone who puts one piece or two pieces or more pieces of wood on the cremation furnace for burning a copse, the one will gain much results for twenty thousand eons.

Folio 5 on the recto side: Song Phitai, Monk Phom donated the blank palm-leaves and Monk La is the scribe. May both of us be born in the same age of Ariya Metteyya Buddha. Sādhu sādhu dhuvaṃ aniccaṃ paramaṃ sukkhaṃ (Amen, amen! Certainly, and constantly, the greatest bliss).
