While the Buddha was dwelling at the Nigrodharam in Savatthi delivered a sermon of this story. Once upon a time, there was a man who lived in Savatthi who had seen an image of the Buddha. He had an ardent religious faith. When he returned home, he made a thousand balls of rice to worship the image of the Buddha. After worshipping the man set his wishes to be born as a rich man. After death, he was born in a heaven with heavenly properties.
