Description of manuscript content:
The merit derived from offering Khao Sangabhatta or Khao Salak (ticket-food: food to be distributed by tickets) to monks or the Sangha. The story is that while the Buddha was dwelling in the Jetavanna Monastery in Savatthi, the Buddha delivered a sermon to a king who offered monks offerings and khao salak. The Buddha described the merit which derived from offering khao salak that those who offered khao salak to monks would be the reach of the three states of happiness with Nirvana as the ultimate.
