The manuscript contains texts of various kinds of medical herbs and about the healing process of children who take these herbs when getting fever. The manuscript was written by Nan (ex-monk) Phat from Pak Chaek village in Tham Lü script in 1963. The writing was starting on two sides.

This is the front cover […] changing like [my] heart […] Nan Phat wrote [this manuscript] in a ka mao year, AD 1963, on the fifth day of the waxing moon of the tenth lunar month, a Thursday, on the twenty-fifth according to the Lao calendar.

Back cover folio [The manuscript] is entitled Ya (Medicine), Nan (ex-monk) Phat wrote it for all people. Anyone who is seriously sick, may use this medicine. May his or her sickness be cured.
