The text tells many chapters of Tai Lue songs. The Tai Lue tradition, singing a song is played with two flutes. The singer and flutters are surrounded by people from the community. While singing a song, the singer uses a wooden fan hiding his or her face.

The manuscript was sewn with a cotton string at the top and has a cotton loop for hanging. Some folios have traces of bite on the lower ends.
