Description of manuscript content:
The texts are started from two sides. The text from the front cover tells the characters of a woman, van puai (ill days), khut khum sao hoen (diging the holes for building a new house), kam sut khwan (words for recalling one’s gardian pirit), son khoei (instructions to a son-in-law), pi koet (the year of a birth), and so on. The text from the back cover says “nak wai hua wai hang” (naga turns its head or tail). The description is that anybody who will get married, will go into a new house, will plow the rice field, should not turn face to face with the naga. It is not good. For example, if the event will organize in the seventh lunar month, the hosts should turn to the East, in the 10th, 11th, 12th months they should turn to the North.
Other notes:
The manuscript was sewn with a cotton string at the top and has a cotton loop for hanging. The writings are started on both sides.
