The manuscript is particularly used by a monk or a master who is knowledgeable in a ceremony for a long-ill patient, and to give advice to the people in their daily activities. The contents include recalling one’s guardian spirit and removing one’s bad luck, telling bad or auspicious days, months and years for doing things, the different length of a day in the human world, heavens and brahma, sunk days and floating days. The texts on the reverse side are about the Buddhist ceremonies so-called Kham kao tan (Words to offer the offerings).

The condition of the manuscript is severely damaged. The front and back covers are missing. Several folios are damaged and fragile. The writing was begun on both sides and with a black pen and pencil.
