Description of manuscript content:
This manuscript pertains to the history of past and future Buddhas. In the period of Buddha Dīpaṅkara, two close friends named Supaññā and Dupaññā who were rich men always made merit. After they had passed away, Supaññā lived in a big castle in the heavens awaiting to reach Nibbāna, while Dupaññā was not able to enter a castle in the heavens but waited outside. Supaññā was curious and went to ask the Buddha. The Buddha gave the reason that Supaññā always made a wish to reach Nibbāna after every merit-making, whereas Dupaññā made a wish of happiness in the world of sense-desire; he was thus not ready to reach Nibbāna.

I put my hands together as a green flower bush to pay homage to the Buddha who is free from defilements, the virtuous Dhamma, the well-behaved Sangha, and all teachers who have taught me. Now, I am going to copy this manuscript. May I have well-being life, be glad to make merit, observe the precepts, and practice meditation in every next life until reaching Nibbāna.
This manuscript was copied from the original version belongs to Care Suphingna (Phra Supina), which copied again by Care Sucinti in Cūḷasakarāja 1273 (BE 2455), on the tenth day of the waxing moon of the ninth lunar month. The sponsors are Nāi Phrā Takā Yòt Kham, Nāng Säng Thòn as well as their family, and Nāi Phrā Takā Waṇṇa as well as his family.
Remark: The date corresponds to Saturday, 5 August 1911 (1273 Sravana 10).
