The text mentions about the story of Millionaire Jotika who had never have his property depleted. In the time of Vipassi Buddha, he was born as a kudumbi (a rich man) named Aparājita and had religious faith in the Teachings of the Buddha. He built a kuti (abode) which decorated with seven kinds of crystals and offered it to the Buddha and Sangha. With the result of the merit, he possessed great prosperities in every life.

Chao Somdet Kao had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Jataka Setthi to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
