The text mentions about the Bodhisattva was born as Phaya Sirikhutta Maharaja who ruled Manla in the time of Kassapa Buddha. He performed meritorious acts of thirty perfections. One day, his eight Brahmins asked him for the throne and city. The king renounced his royal throne to them with delighted mind, and then he took his family to live in the forest. There was a Yak (giant) asked him for his son and daughter for food. The Yak spoke to the king that if he gives him his children he will be a Buddha in the future certainly.
