The manuscript contains nine texts about Islamic knowledge. It starts with the obligation to study and to continue with the study of Islamic jurisprudence. Each discussion is accompanied by a commentary.
It also contains discussions of the unique principles of the faith (hayyun, qadirun, muridun, sami’un, bashirun, ‘alimun, mutakkalimun, baqun) and the principles of Islam.
It also contains the niat for shalat awwabin ma’ hifzhil iman and shalat anbiya ma’ baqa’ al-iman.
At the end of the text are Ali bin Abu Thalib’s explanations of Muhammad’s attributes to ward off all forms of evil.
Other notes:
The manuscript contains an illustration of a lotus flower containing the text of the oneness of God “lā ilāha illā Allāh”
There are also charms and magical drawings that use Quranic verses and titles for all sorts of purposes.
Finally the manuscript contains the genealogy of the Shatariyyah Sufi Order tracing it back to the Prophet Muhammad.
