The manuscript contains the explanation of Islamic theology, Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), Arabic syntax and morphology.
Colophon:
Tammat wallāhu a’lam hāżal kitāb al-musammā Syarah Syamarqandiy khatam naktubu yauma sabti fī syahri rabī’ul awwal fī al-hilāl thamanūn. (16v). Tamma hāżal kitāb al-musammā fī syarḥi as-sittīn wa al-farāghu fīhi yauma aṣ-ṣuluṣ fī waqti ẓuhūr syahru rabī’ul awwal tamma wallāhu a’lam. (35r). Tammat wallāhu a’lam hāżal kitāb al-musammā bi al-kalimah asy-syahādah fī al-waqti al-‘isyā fī al-lailah al-‘arba’ tamma wallāhu a’lam. (36r). Tamma hāżal kitāb al-musammā bi al-Miftāh fī lailati as-sabti fī waqti al-lail khamsata ‘asyara hilālan fī al-shahri rabī’ul ākhir pertanda Akrom nulis shāhib al-mūsī tammat wallāhu a’lam. (52r). Tamma hāżā syaraḥ al-Mufīd fī waqti ‘asr wallāhu a’lam. (71r).
Other notes:
On page 71v there is a note in Pegon script written in reverse. The contents are the "padhang ati" prayer, a prayer to strengthen faith, and a prayer to open all knowledge. On page 72r there is a note on the zakat prayer in Pegon and Arabic script, then there is also writing in Javanese script, but the script pattern is not clearly legible. On page 72v there is a note in Pegon script about the prayer for taking ablution water and the prayer for washing the body parts when performing ablution.
