Description of manuscript content:
The text was written in Pali. The content mentions Phra Malai at the Culamani Stupa in Tavatimsa Heaven, where the relics of the Buddha have been installed, the Elder had seen one hundred thousand of deities there. Especially, the Venerable talked with Maitreya, the next Buddha. Maitreya left messages with Pha Malai for the human beings in the world who wish to meet him in his Era, have to practice: 1. to abstain from killing and hit one's parents, ordained persons and hermits. 2. to abstain from causing a Buddha to bleed and causing schism in the order. 3. to pay attention to listen completely in one day to the preaching of Vessantara Jataka.

Folio 19 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat 1 hundred 812 (corresponding with CS 1182), a kot si year, on the thirteenth waning day of the eighth [lunar] month, the second day of the week (Monday), a ka pao day, the writing of this manuscript was finished at noon (between 10.30-12.00 o’clock). Phò Thit (father of ex-monk) Suk and his wife, children and all their relatives had the religious faith to jointly sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Pali Patha Malai Saen to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo hotu no (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvāna).
