Description of manuscript content:

This manuscript describes the time when the Buddha went to teach Abhidhamma (The basket of higher teaching) such as Dhammasaṅgiṇī, Vibhaṅga, Dhātukathā, Pukkalapaññatti, Kathāvatthu, Yamaka, and Mahāpaṭṭhāna, to his divine mother in the Dusita heaven.

ปริปุณณะแล้วเวราสามธุ่มแกล่ข้าน้อยแล ตัวบ่งามแท้เนิอ ค่อยพิจจรณาเอาพร่องเทิอะ ฯ สักขาศ 1259 ตัว ปลีเมืองเร้า เดือน 11 ลง 15 ฅ่ำ เดือนดับคำเดียว ค็แม่นเสาแล ฯ อิธิมาภิกขุเขียนแล ชะไพติเตียนขวันร้ายเช่นเทิอะ ขอเอาวิธสุข ๓ ประการ มีพานเปนยอด นิจํ หมั้นเที่ยงแล ฯ ไขเคียดเหลกจารบ่คม แต้มเหล้นแล ฯ Phra (monk) Itthima finished copying [the manuscript] in the evening, in Cuḷasakarāja 1259, on the fifteenth waning-moon day of the eleventh [lunar] month. The handwriting is not beautiful.Please read it carefully. May [the merit derived from copying this manuscript lead me] to three kinds of happiness with Nibbāna as the most ultimate one. [It was] frustrating that the stylus was not sharp. Remark. The date corresponds probably to Friday, 27 August 1897 (1259 Sravana 29).
