Gaddhachanda, the first son of Gaddhanakumāra, realized his father had gone too long and that he invited his younger brother to search for their father. Gaddhanetta disagreed, but his older brother decided to go on searching for his father. Gaddhachanda followed the way his father used to travel up to the city of Taksilā.

The palm-leaf manuscript was sponsored by Monk Palat Panyasan, the abbot of Wat Monthian in the province of Nan, along with his followers, and all his family members to ensure the continuation of the Teachings of Buddha Gotama. May be this a condition for us us gain Arahantship and attain Nibbāna.
“Iminā dhammalikkitta joṭaka buddhasāsanaṃ yāva arahantāmaggañāṇaṃ lokuttaramaggaphaladinnaṁ nibbānapaccayo hotu me santika ariyametteyyo buddho anāgate niccaṃ”.
