Description of manuscript content:
This manuscript is a Jātaka or a story of one of the Buddha’s past lives given to his disciples. (Fascicle 2) One day, Sīvijaya invented a big bird out of wood to bring him and his wife to Videha city. On the way to Videha city, Sīvijaya rescued a hermit who had been questioned with several puzzles by an ogre: the eventual owner of a bird that was shot dead by two men; two men who fought over a discovered treasure; a cow stealer. One day, Sīvijaya was caught by an ogre and Sīvaiya started searching for her husband.

I copied [this manuscript] during my stay at Wat Pa Kaeo Dòn Chai to assist Khruba Panya, the abbot of the temple. [I copied this manuscript] to ensure the continuation of Buddhism to be long as the age of this palm-leaf manuscript.
