This manuscript is a Jātaka or a story of one of the Buddha’s past lives given to his disciples. (Fascicle 4) King Sīvijaya taught his officers and citizens with traditional didactics as well as judged cases with his wisdom: a case of a firewood seller and a crocodile; a case of a wealthy man stealing his friend’s money; a case of a human becoming a cow, a case of a wealthy man stealing a merchant’s plough handle; a case of a rat eating a sword; a case of stealing grilled meat; a case of a monkey stealing a necklace.
