Description of manuscript content:
Nagara or Nakhon (entering the city) is the 13th of the 13 episodes of the Vessantara Jataka. The text tells of Vessantara who abandoned his ascetic robe and left his hermitage. The prince dressed in royal attire and returned to Sivi. He ruled his kingdom with royal virtue and died at the age of 120 years. He entered the Tusita Heaven as the male Deity Santusita.

ศีรศวัสสติ อหํ นาม ญาน นาโม ธมฺมลิกฺขิตฺโต ข้าภะเจ้าเขียนแล้วเมื่อพระพุทธสกลาชได้ 2462 ตัว ปลีกัดเม็ด เดือน 12 แรม 9 ฅ่ำ วัน 5 ยามตาวันช้าย บ่ายสะน่อย ค็บอริปุณะ ธัมมลิกขิตแล ฯ I am Yana. [I] finished writing [this manuscript] in 2462 BE, a kat met year, on the ninth waning-moon day of the twelfth [lunar] month, the fifth day of the week, in the afternoon. Remark: The date corresponds to Thursday, 18 September 1919 (1281 Bhadrapada 24).
