The text of Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta in Pali language is used for chanting and learning by heart. It is the middle Sutta that the Buddha gave preaching to The Five Ascetics, in Isipatana forest. Thammacakkappavattana sutta means Setting the Wheel of Dhamma in Motion. It was the first preaching of the Buddha after his enlightenment on the fifteenth waxing day of the eight [lunar] month, or It is Āsāḷha Pūjā.
