[The writing of this manuscript] was completed at the time of the forenoon horn (9:00–10:30), just after lunch. In CS 1285, a ka khai year, on the ninth waxing-moon day of the first lunar month, the fifth day of the week, the writing of this manuscript was finished. My name is Sāmaṇera (novice) Phintha. The principal initiator was Ai (brother) Singkham, together with his family members, who donated this manuscript titled Tamnan Dòn Tao with dedicational objects in order to dedicate this merit to his deceased wife named Nang (Ms) La. May this merit be transferred to her unconditionally. Nibbānaṃ paramaṃ sukkhaṃ
