The first fascicle of Cundasukarika Sutta was written in Pali language begins Sukittimā subācāro susiravā supāgatassa. The text is popularly used by a monk to read in the nyot tham ceremony which is organized in a monastery or a house in order to get merit.

Folio 7 on the recto side: In BE 2489, a hwai set year, on the eighth waxing day of the fifth [lunar] month, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), the writing of this manuscript was finished at the time of the sunset drum (between 13.30–15.00 o’clock). Bhikkhu Phothipanya from Vat That had the most ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Chuntha Sukarikasut 4 fascicles to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the benefit of this merit be a condition to support me both in this life and my other lives in the future. May I be released from the five Maras (the five destroyers: Kilesa-māra, Khandha-māra, Abhisaïkhàra-māra, Devaputta-māra and Maccu-māra). May I reach Nirvāna as I desire. Nibbāna paccayo hotu anagāle kale (May this be a condition to reach Nirvāna).
