[The writing of this manuscript of] the Takhong Pagoda legend was completed at the time of the forenoon horn by Monk Indacakka who inscribed this manuscript on his own. If I were reborn, may I be reborn to meet Metteyya Buddha. This manuscript was sponsored by the principal initiator, Khanan (ex-monk) Uppanan, together with his parents including Ya (grandmother) Thiamta, his wife, and his family members. They sponsored the production of this manuscript to sustain Buddhism to last for five-thousand years. May they attain the threefold happiness of which Nibbāna is the ultimate one.
