A king of Mithilā had a bullfrog son named Gandhaghāṭakakumāra. When he grew up, his skin peeled off and he became a young gold-skinned man. He married a beautiful woman from the Utarakuru continent and they had two sons. One day, Lord Thaen in the celestial realm took his followers to fight over Gandhaghāṭakakumāra’s wife. He controlled the rain arbitrarily, withering rice farms and blooming.
