The text mentions about on the day of the Buddha’s passing away, the Buddha addressed to all monks, and these were very last words, the Buddha spoke: “Behold, O monks, this is my last advice to you. All component things in the world are changible. They are not lasting. Work hard to gain your own salvation.”

Folio 25 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat (CS) 1240, a poek nyi year, on the ninth waxing day of the fifth [lunar] month, the second day of the week (Monday), a ka pao day, the writing of this manuscript was finished at the time of the morning drum (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Pa (aunt) Tha Sathu Nyai Thangthai (the queen of the back palace) had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sap Khatha Thamma Pattha to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all my wishes and desires come true.
