This manuscript describes the time when the Buddha went to teach Abhidhamma (The basket of higher teaching) such as Dhammasaṅgiṇī, Vibhaṅga, Dhātukathā, Pukkalapaññatti, Kathāvatthu, Yamaka, and Mahāpaṭṭhāna, to his divine mother in the Dusita heaven.

Colophon:

[The writing of this manuscript] was completed on the second day of the week, on the thirteenth waxing-moon day of the eleventh [lunar] month, CS 1246. May this merit protect me. The writing was completed in early afternoon.

This date corresponds with Monday, 4 August 1884 (1246 Sravana 13).
