This manuscript describes the time when the Buddha went to teach Abhidhamma (The basket of higher teaching) such as Dhammasaṅgiṇī, Vibhaṅga, Dhātukathā, Pukkalapaññatti, Kathāvatthu, Yamaka, and Mahāpaṭṭhāna, to his divine mother in the Dusita heaven.

In CS 1158, a si year, on the 9th waning-moon day of the eleventh [lunar] month, the seventh day of the week, a poek si day as the Tai say, at noon, corresponding to the 2339th year, the third month, and the ninth day of Buddhism, and corresponding to the 2660th year, the first month, the 21st day from which the Teachings of the Buddha will come to an end, Svādhu Sobhā, together with his family members and his teachers, sponsored the writing of this manuscript in order to prolong the the Teachings of the Buddha until [the end of] 5,000 years or long as the life this manuscript. May the merit derived from writing this Piṭaka-dhamma manuscript support us until we are reborn in the Metteyya Buddha’s period. May all of us attain the Enlightenment in the school of Metteyya Buddha. May all of us possess sharp wisdom coming huge like water in the ocean, thundering voice like that of Lord Mahābraḥma, safety from all illnesses, lovability and numerous relatives. May all my wishes be fulfilled.
