Puggalapaññatti is the sophisticated high-level Dhamma defining regulations and elevations of humans’ minds: minds of those who cannot refrain defilements, minds of those who can refrain defilements sometimes, and minds of those who can completely refrain defilements.
Colophon:
Novice Paññā inscribed this manuscript by himself to be enshrined in Buddhism. May the merit derived from this act support me and my family members. The manuscript-writing was completed at the time of the fore-midnight horn in CS 1283, a ruang rao year, on the sixth waxing-moon day of the second [lunar] month, the seventh day of the week as the Mon say.
I inscribed this manuscript during my stay of assistance to Svādhu Gambhīra of Wat Huai Ha.
The principal initiator was Police Sergeant Bunpan, together with his wife and his children, who sponsored the writing of this manuscript entitled Abhidhammā-puggalapaññatti, so that Buddhism could be prolonged until [the end of] 5,000 years.
