Description of manuscript content:

Mahāpaṭṭhāna session or Paccaya 24 defines causes and factors of the Dhamma or emotions. For example, if we meritoriously behave, we will be reborn in heaven. If we sinfully behave, we will be reborn in hell. The fact is compared to a deeply rooted Bodhi tree that never falls down by storm. Emotions causing affection, anger, and delusion shake our minds. This is compared to the blind who depends on a rail for a walk or to a cowman who must remember the number and the characters of his cows in order to take care of them.

[The writing of this manuscript] was completed at the time of the forenoon horn. suddinnaṃ vatta me dānaṃ nibbāna paccayo hontu no niccaṃ dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ May the merit derived from inscribing this manuscript support myself and my family members. Novice Dhammasenā wrote this manuscript while taking care of Sawathu Luang Gambhīra at Wat Huai Ha in CS 1283, a ruang rao Year, on the fifth waxing-moon day of the third [lunar] month.
