Puggalapaññatti is the sophisticated high-level Dhamma defining regulations and elevations of humans’ minds: minds of those who cannot refrain defilements, minds of those who can refrain defilements sometimes, and minds of those who can completely refrain defilements.

In CS 1298, the Year of the Rat, a cai year as the Tai say, on the thirteenth waning-moon day of the twelfth [lunar] month, the second day of the week, a kat sai day as the Tai say, at the time of the forenoon horn, Monk Dhammajaya wrote this manuscript and donated it to be enshrined in Buddhism so that its life could be prolonged 5,000 years or as long as the life of this manuscript could be.
