This book is in ten chapters, each dealing with a particular topic of Buddhist teaching: Roots (Mula), Aggregates (Khanda), Bases (Ayatana), Elements (Dhatu), Truths (Sacca/Satya), Formations (Sankhara/Sanskara), Latent States (Anusaya), Consciousness (Citta/Chitta), Phenomena (Dhamma) and Sense Faculties (Indriya).
Colophon:
[The writing of this manuscript] was completed at the time of the forenoon horn in CS 1298. I wrote this Dhamma manuscript entitled Yamaka because it is the text representative to my weekday of birth.
I, Monk Phaccakitti Dhuravaṃso, wrote this manuscript while taking care of Sawathu Cao Mahāvaṃsa at Wat Ban Hong.
