Maharat or Mahārāja (the great king) is the eleventh episode of the 13 episodes of Vessantara Jataka. The text mentions Brahmin Jujaka took Jali and Kanha back his hometown in Kalinka. Jujaka lost the way and directed to Sivi which was the city of King Sonsai (Sanjaya). When King Sonsai saw his grandchildren, heransomed the two young princes from Jujaka. The king also fed the Brahmin with delicious food. With hungriness for many days, the Brahmin ate too much. Finally his bloated stomach was broken and then he died.

Nibbāna paccayo hotu no dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ niccaṃ vattame nibbānaṃ paramaṃ sukhaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvāna constantly and certainly, Nirvāna is the greatest bliss).
