Description of manuscript content:
The Bodhisattva intercepted a magical animal that turned excrement into gold. Therefore, he succeeded in building the golden bridge with the help of Lord Indra. Finally, the king of Champa Nakhon agreed to hand over his daughter, Princess Pathumma, to be Bodhisattva's spouse.
Colophon:
[The writing of this manuscript] was completed at the time of the morning drum. I, Novice Gandha, wrote this manuscript during my stay at Wat Ban Hong, near the main road. May this merit be transferred to my family members. My handwriting is not beautiful because I could not concentrate and really wanted to disrobe. In CS 1254, a kot si year, on the second waning-moon day of the eleventh [lunar] month, the fourth day of the week, I wrote this manuscript on my own during my stay of assistance to Sawathu Cao Sommaṇa at Wat Ban Hong. Monks and novices who use this manuscript are suggested reading it carefully. I am not good at writing palm-leaf manuscripts. I was also distracted because I heard people talking, causing confused positions of vowels. May this merit support me to reach Nibbāna.
