In CS 1297, a dap khai year, on the tenth waning-moon day of the ninth [lunar] month, the fourth day of the week, at the time of the noon horn, I, Monk Mahāvaṃsa, wrote this for Buddhism. May this merit definitely support me until I gain the Arahantship. Nibbāna paccayo hotu no niccaṃ dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ.
