Once upon a time the Bodhisatta was born as a king of Bhārāṇasī (modern Benares). He married Uddharā, a daughter of a wealthy man and his first wife millionaire. Uddharā’s mother was fooled and killed by her fathers’s second minor wife of her father. Uddharā was also fooled by the minor second wife and her children persecuted by her. However, supported by her accumulated merit, Uddharā was safe and still the principal queen of the King Bhārāṇasī for her entire life is still alive until she passes away.
Colophon:
[The writing of this manuscript] was completed at the time of the noon horn. I, Monk Cina, wrote the manuscript. My handwriting is not beautiful. I just followed the original and I have not wrote palm-leaf manuscripts for a long while. In CS 1249, a moeng khai year, on the third waxing-moon day of the eleventh [lunar] month, the sixth day of the week, I wrote the manuscript so that the religion could last until [the end of] 5,000 years.
Nibbānaṃ paramaṃ sukhaṃ.
