Description of manuscript content:
A wealthy man and his wife living in Benares had two sons: Sirimekkha and Sirinanda. When the wife died, the man remarried with a woman who despised the two children and convinced her husband to abandon them in the forest. The two boys studied the magic sciences with a hermit. Sometime later, Sirinanda married khyv Gam, a yakṣa's daughter. One day, he freed ayn2 Gam, daughter of the king of Benares, who had been abducted by a vidyadhara, and brought her back home. Realizing that Surinanda had accumulated many merits, the king of Benares had him ascend the throne.
